The History of Nancy's Noah's Ark Inc.

The idea of Nancy’s Noah’s Ark, and the program that you see today, began over thirty years ago. As I was looking for quality childcare for my own children, I found it hard to find a program that embodied the spiritual, intellectual and creative qualities that I wanted instilled in my children when they couldn’t be with me. Upon consulting friends, family and professionals in early childhood education, I began the journey known to most as “Noah’s Ark”. Starting from a humble beginning, with a total enrollment of fifteen children, NNA has grown to a center that influences the young minds of hundreds of children each school year.

Cinco de Mayo Celebration

We had a fun time today with our Spanish teacher Miss Charity! She brought a Cinco de Mayo celebration to the Ark! We got to see books and pictures of the celebration in Mexico! For the grand finale we got to do a piñata! Not only did the students get hit the piñata, but the teachers got into it as well! It was a great celebration of Mexican independence and culture! Thank you Miss Charity!

 

City of Mill Creek's Eggstravaganza

Nancy's Noah's Ark is proud to be one of the sponsors for the City of Mill Creek's Park and Recreation Eggstravaganza! This event is being held on Saturday, April 7th at Heatherwood Middle School located at 1419 Trillium Blvd. SE Mill Creek, 98012. The festivities begin at 10:30am. This is a great way to start off the Easter holiday weekend, so bring the whole family! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!

   

Community Helpers Come to NNA!

We have been learning about community helpers here at the Ark! From teachers to doctors, each person has a special role in keeping our community running smoothly! We were lucky enough to have two community helpers come to our school and teach us all about what they do to help our community, a police officer and a firefighter! Officer Tyler and Firefighter Yoder came to visit! They taught us how to stay safe and what to do in case of an emergency. We had such a great time! Thank you to both of these community helpers for all that they do and for taking the time to come to Nancy's Noah's Ark!
